Hunter Valley Weather and Climate
The Hunter Valley's climate is similar to Sydney's but a bit cooler in winter. It's a very pleasant climate at any time of the year, although you will need your woollies in the winter months (May-August). Rainfall is heavier in the summer, in keeping with the subtropical climate. In the table below are average minimum and maximum monthly temperatures, and average rainfall.
